- This site uses forms to collect minimal personal information – your name, email, role and country – in order to provide services to you, and so we know a bit about who our users are.
- We store a few statistics about your book (or any other document which we analyse for you) but none of the content beyond the first ten sentences; if you have a Professional account we store your full report (but not the full text) for your own reference. Your text remains your copyright at all times.
- All payments are processed by the payment gateway Stripe (https://stripe.com/gb/privacy): we do not store any of your debit or credit card details.
- The site has an SSL certificate for security.
- We only send occasional newsletters, which are managed by Mailchimp (see https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/) using a double opt-in; you can unsubscribe from them at any time.
- The only other reasons why we would email you would be to provide information about your account, reply to an enquiry from you, let you know about an important update to our services or warn you about a security issue – plus we may also email you just once each time you have used The Bookalyser, in order to offer our editorial and typesetting services.
- We won’t share your details with ANYONE other than the services listed here (unless you have asked us to).
- You have the right to know what data we have about you and to have it deleted if you wish: all you have to do is ask and we’ll help!
